iDrum Authorization Walkthrough
  1. Open the plug-in in your host application.
  2. The authorization dialog will open. Click “Authorize” to continue.



  3. For online authorization, enter your serial number, name, and valid email address. Then, click “Authorize” to continue. For instructions on manual authorization, go here. For instructions on authorizing to another drive, go here.

    Your serial number is located:
    • in the software box if purchased in a store
    • in your confirmation email if purchased through iZotope on the web


  4. The authorization information will be sent. If valid, the success dialog will open. Click "Finish" to complete your Authorization.

Manual Authorization
  1. Open the plug-in in your host application.
  2. The authorization dialog will open. Click “Authorize” to continue.



  3. Select “Internet Authorization” or “Manual Authorization”

    For manual authorization, copy the challenge code, go to a computer connected to the internet, and go to step 5.



  4. Click the link to log into your iZotope account, or to create one with your serial number.



  5. If you already have an account, enter your email address and password. If you are a new user, enter your serial number to continue.



  6. You will be asked to fill in your user profile and read the license agreement.
  7. If you are authorizing manually, enter the challenge code, and a response will be generated for you. If you chose internet authorization, the challenge will be entered for you. Copy the response code.



  8. Paste the response into the authorization dialog and click “Next”. Congratulations, your authorization is complete.

Authorization to Another Drive (Disk Authorization)

Alternatively, you can authorize your iZotope plug-ins to another drive. This is useful for carrying your authorizations on a USB drive like a dongle or for storing your authorization on a backup or storage drive if you initialize your system disk often.

  1. Open the plug-in in your host application.
  2. The authorization dialog will open. Click “Authorize” to continue.



  3. Enter your serial number, name, and valid email address. Then, click “Advanced.” Select “Store response on disk” and select the drive you would like to use for the authorization. Click “Authorize” to submit your information.

    Your serial number is located:
    • in the software box if purchased in a store
    • in your confirmation email if purchased through iZotope on the web


  4. The authorization information will be sent. If valid, the success dialog will open. Click “Finish” to complete your Authorization.
