iDrum Features

• iDrum comes bundled with Over 500 drum and percussion samples – from classic beatbox kicks and snares to congas and shakers. To top it off, you can load your own AIFF and WAV drum samples (up to 2 MB per sample), which makes the possibilities for beat creation virtually endless! Download Kits quickly and easily with the brand new iDrum Sound Portal.
• iDrum features an array of sound-shaping tools like filters, pitch control and envelopes, letting you non-destructively transform drum sounds at the click of your mouse.
• Create and save an unlimited number of Kits (iDrum files). iDrum comes packaged with over 200 exemplary, preprogrammed Kits so that you can start enjoy iDrum’s capabilities right away!
• Each Kit (iDrum file) can have up to 99 Patterns and 1 Song associated with it. Since you can build as many Kits as you want, there's no limit to the number of Songs you can store with iDrum. You can even make copies of Kits to use them to perform more than one song.
• iDrum also includes dozens of Part presets – individual drum parts you can mix and match to create killer grooves, even if you’ve never touched a drum machine before!
• iDrum features an array of sound-shaping tools like filters, pitch control and envelopes, letting you non-destructively transform drum sounds at the click of your mouse.
• Play beats in real-time using your MIDI controller (or even your QWERTY keyboard)!

Standalone or Plugin for your Host App

Use iDrum by itself or inside GarageBand® and other host programs. iDrum runs as both a standalone native OS X and Windows application and as a plug-in for Pro Tools®, GarageBand®, Logic®, Ableton® Live™, SONAR™, Cubase®, Digital Performer® and other host programs. Supported plug-in formats include: RTAS (Pro Tools 7+), VST, Audio Units and MAS. This means you can use iDrum to create beats from right within your favorite music software environment, perfectly synced with your arrangement and always right where you left it when you return to your project after your next world tour.
